Description
We compared transcriptome profiles of WT kidneys with that of RNLS KO kidneys. We also compared transcriptome profiles of healthy kidneys to CKD kidneys. Our study represents the first detailed transcriptome analysis of kidneys from mice with cisplatin-induced chronic kidney disease and provides the dissection of renalase functions.
Overall Design
WT and RNLS KO mice were treated with or without 2 doses of cisplatin at 15mg/kg, 2 weeks apart. After 4 weeks of cisplatin treatment, animals developed CKD as evidenced by elevated plasma creatinine levels. Kidneys were collected and digested into single cells, followed by next-generation sequencing analysis.
